Dear Students,

This communication is in context to your reading of Livingstone Seagull by Richard Bach. I hope some of you have read it and many of you have yet to pick up the book and start reading it. Whatever the situation is you all are required to read the complete book. Upon reading you are required to respond to the following:
1 Few lines about the author and also explain the title

2 A paragraph on the story/plot

3 The character you liked the most and why?

4 Your takeaways/learnings (elaborate)

This carries a weightage of 10% in your internal component.

Be thorough with the content of the book as questions might be asked in any of the sessions. Also do not copy paste the stuff either from your friends or from any other source. The entire writing has to be in your own words.
The deadline for submission is 15 Dec. 2016 and no sbmission at all after this date. No excuse or reason shall be entertained in any case, whatsoever.

Kindly revert for any guidance.

Happy reading and writing!

Jonathan Livingston Seagull tells the story of a young seagull with big ambitions. Jonathan Seagull pushes himself to fly at tremendous speeds, eventually reaching a higher plane of perfection. Later, he returns to his flock to teach the ambitious among them what he knows.

In Part I, Jonathan defies his parents and spends all his time practicing flying. He repudiates their belief that a seagull's sole purpose is to eat and instead studies the mechanics of flight. He's banished because of this.

In Part II, Jonathan reaches a higher plane of existence, where he studies with the elder gull Chiang, who teaches him the secrets to "perfect speed."

In Part III, Jonathan returns to his flock to teach them what he has learned.
