supply chain is the backbone of any organisation or company. scm consists of those activities which are essential that is transportation, warehouse, forecasting matching demand & supply etc. An effective supply chain management can make or break the functioning of any manufacturing company. there are so many news of companies having problems because they their scm was not up to the mark.
